DEVOTIONAL : PRESERVE YOUR FAITH AND SHINE ON EARTH

In every God's command there is always a promise and through obedience you will always be blessed" Please read Matthew 5:13-16  Salt is used commonly for preserving foods and have a satisfying taste. Jesus said we are the salt of the earth. As we received God's amazing grace through Christ, our Heavenly Father open the door for us for blessings of knowledge and wisdom through the help the Holy Spirit that living within us. Having the knowledge and understanding of the truth who set us free from the sin, Christ Jesus preserved us against death and gives us eternal life. In that way, whatever his commands and promises for us through his word we need to preserve it as well in our hearts to become salt to anyone for them to taste the goodness and love of God specially to those who did not know Christ Jesus. While Jesus Christ is the center of our lives, focusing our eyes unto him alone who is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, his light will always dwelling and shining up...

VERSE OF THE DAY

1 Thessalonians 5:8-9   8  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.   9  For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. jmochannel.blogspot.com/ jmo channel on youtube / jesus ministry outreach on facebookpage

DEVOTIONAL : THE ASSURANCE OF BEING IN THE LIGHT

For the world gives us light in the day, and darkness in the night but the one who walk with God will always have the light even in the night ." Please read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 As Apostle Paul wrote this to the Thessalonians reminding them for the second coming of Christ Jesus which has no time and date. But  giving  the assurance by accepting Jesus Christ with our obedience we are safe and saved for he is our light through the darkness which is our great enemy. The Lord will come in the night like a thief! Why Apostle Paul mentioning this? It is because of the signs of destruction is with them even it getting worst in our present time these days . We are all experiencing those  things nowadays which Jesus Christ himself told to his disciples in (Matthew 24:4-8) like a birth pains and it is the coming end of the age. But since we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior then we we belong to the light. But this is a great reminder to all of us, let us be sober, putt...

DEVOTIONAL: BE A WARRIOR, NOT A WORRIER

Allow God to fight for your battles by trusting and putting all our hope to him alone." Please read Psalm 25:1-5 As a believer of Christ, at first I thought when I have the Lord in my life I will not have any problems to be encounter. As baby Christians we try to think in advanced what our God can do. But when the time of hardships comes our faith then started to be shaken. Asking some questions and lots of doubts come into our mind which is a big mistake for us as a Christian. God is able in all impossible situations, but he wants us  to learn from those trials by trusting and putting our hope to him alone as we believe that he is able and mighty. My personal prayer  before is always in this way, Lord keep me away from  any problems. But it is not the will of God for us, his will for us is to be fully surrendered to him in all our aspect in life, problems, trial and circumstances. To put our trust and hope in his mighty hand. As we cannot avoid it but can fight wi...

DEVOTIONAL : BE A WISE CHRISTIAN

BE A WISE CHRISTIAN Please read Matthew 25:1-13 The Parable of the Ten Virgins 25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was sh...

DEVOTIONAL : ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AND RECIEVE THE GIFT OF WISDOM FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

''Being saved is not safe and seated , but by sharing the gift of salvation that you have to others.'' Please read Acts 2:22-42 As Peter and his fellow disciples gathered together in one place on the day of Pentecost, they received the promise of Jesus Christ to have the Holy Spirit as their helper on their  next journey, as he will rise up again to the father. (Acts 2-23) All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them, so all people who were there was amazed of what they heard and witness, and some said they were drunk. But Peter stood up and his fellow disciples urged their fellow men Israelites to listen to them and believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah whom they crucified and died on the cross. Who did so many miracles that they even witness on their own eyes in their own land Israel. And telling them that God  raised Jesus Christ again to heaven and alive as they saw it personally. Using the prop...

VERSE OF THE DAY

The Truth Will Set You Free 31  So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,  “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,   32  and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  John 8:31-32

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANT TIPS ON KNOWING THE TRUTH: JESUS CHRIST

"Our faith begins by knowing God, by his word, we will know his will, commands and promises then our trust starts. Surely and it is a reality, will you trust  someone you never ever know?  IMPORTANT TIPS ON KNOWING THE TRUTH Please read JOHN 8:31-38 ACROSTIC GUIDE: KNOWING How to know Jesus Christ ?  K- Know Jesus Christ  with a pure and humble heart ask God for wisdom and knowledge. Through reading, listening and with an obedient heart to  his word  is the best personal choice that will let you know the real meaning of life and its direction. His word is in the bible open and read it and be blessed by the truth. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,  2 Timothy 3:16   Why I need to know Jesus Christ? N-No sinners can connect to  God. VERSE OF THE DAY

Proverbs 3:5-6 5Trust in the  Lord  with all your heart      and lean not on your own understanding; 6  in all your ways submit to him,      and he will make your paths straight.

DEVOTIONAL: DO NOT RESIST DISCIPLINE BUT LISTEN

"The  Lord  disciplines those he loves" Please read  Proverbs 3:1-12 On my childhood days, I always got an advice and so many kinds of discipline from my parents that sometimes it hurts me physically and emotionally due to   lack of knowledge and understanding in anything. As I grew up I learned and knew all those things which is right and wrong because of their guidance. And I believed your parents do the same as my parents did. The question is why does parents doing it? Is it for their own benefits? Or it is because of their love for us? As I  am a parent now, the only thing I ask and pray to God  for my children is a guidance to lead them not to grow in wrong way and may they know  that Jesus is the Lord. For I am sure and believed that they will have a better future when the know him. One thing to remember when I was studying, if I got an award in school they will really buy a set of new clothes for me, preparing something special and celebrate...

READING…. — 1 Corinthians 10:31 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” May GOD bless us and the work of our hands this week!

VERSE OF THE DAY

Romans 8:28-30 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

DEVOTIONAL:GOD WORKS ALWAYS FOR OUR GOOD

''Sufferings may seems hard to anybody but  God will allow it not to harm anybody but will use it for his glory'' Please read Romans 8:28-30 As we decided to choose and obey the word of  the Lord rather than the world we might go so many testing and trials in any kinds, but it will produce perseverance that will help the growth of our faith and to fulfill the plans of the Lord to us individually. Hardships and sufferings is undesirable to anybody but if we take it and give it to God  through our faith that we as human are nothing but only Jesus Christ the Lord who is able to fight for us. God is always working for the good of those his children who love him and allow them to suffer in their trials to be strong and able to see and believe that he is mighty. In that you will be matured on your faith when you keep your sight unto him alone and you will understand the purpose of God for you. He wants us to walk  like Jesus Christ, who  obeyed the Father and sac...

DEVOTIONAL: WE MAY ALWAYS FAILED BUT THE LORD NEVER

It doesn’t matter how many times you stumbled and fall, what matters most is how you get up and hold on back to the Lord with repentance. Please read Psalm 37:23-24 As a human being in this world we will go through so many trials and temptations, difficulties and doubts which can affect our spiritual life. But God is so gracious to us whenever we stumbled down and failed to his will, all we need to do is to ask for forgivness immediately. Repent and look forward on things that could give glory to him.  Delight yourself to him for you to be able to fight those struggles that made you stumbled down and failed and he will upholds you with his mighty hand and you will not fall again and again. We need to hold on to the Lord for he is our refuge and strength in this darken world. Stay around in a spiritual family that will help, encourage,  uplift and build you up in God’s holy presence always and experience the victories. We may stumble and fall but the love of the Lord will never...

DEVOTIONAL: GOD BE THE FIRST FOR HE WILL DO THE BEST

Choose your priority wisely, for in every choices there will be consequences” Matthew 6:33 Today is my birthday August 4, 1988 I was born from a super very simple but complete family. A family living in one roof and one room with seven siblings together, helping our parents in our farm  daily is not easy but our life were simply contented and happy. No complaint of what life has going through until I grew up with my own family and experiencing so many trials and difficulties which has made me bothered and weary. Thinking for the future for my family and my  kids is not easy. I went  abroad  2013 to supply the needs of my family. Life went through so many hardships and trials, difficulties and still not easy. Being far from my family make it harder and harder for me everyday. Being alone abroad made me think what life is in meant to be, to strive hard to survive in this world. When the day comes that you have  nobody to talk to, to ask for help in times of needs ...

DEVOTIONAL: WHAT IS IN OUR HEART MATTERS MOST

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21 Please read 1 JOHN: 2:15-17 In this reading the word of God reminding us to always check our heart, our desires and priorities. The world offer so many things that will easily attract our eyes, mind and heart. We need to be very careful in all things that attracted our desires  because when we become overwhelm on it, possibility we will forget the Lord.  Loving what the world has offer to us like ( the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is a SIN   and the love for the Lord is not with us. We cannot serve two master inside our heart, the world and the LORD? Prioritizing those things what you love in this world rather than the word of the Lord who is the creator? The truth is, what has the world offers to us is against the will of God (the world and its desires will pass away) but pursuing the will of God, knowing, listening, and obeying unto him offers heaven...

DEVOTIONAL : THE ASSURANCE IN GOD'S HOLY PRESENCE

Psalm 121 ''Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.'' (Hebrews 11:1) Being alone may cause us loneliness and helpless but knowing that we have the Lord in our heart, believing that he is our loving father  who cares for us and he is the creator of all things is the best way to focus and  trust. We have our own daily different battles in life that makes us weary and down. But God's holy presence will gives us strength and power to fight each battles and feel satisfied. He is always with us, our present help that never tired and never slumber of hearing our prayers . He gives us the Holy Spirit who helps and guides our way to righteousness with assurance that he will never leave us nor forsake us.  Our God is our stronghold, our refuge who protects us away from all harm day and night. He is  a great provider and who knows our needs even before we asks. God is always watching and working for our good even in the hardest time of o...

VERSE OF THE DAY

13  When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you [ a ]  alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,   14  having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.   Colossians 2:13-14

DEVOTIONAL : KNOWING JESUS CHRIST

John 3:1-21 Knowing about who Jesus Christ, is the beginning of wisdom that will help us to possess knowledge, information, or understanding about his perfect will and plans for us. I remember when I was a child at 6yrs old, when I heard my two elder brothers sharing about the word of God saying Jesus is the Lord and we need to accept him as our savior. As I grew up from grade school up to college it was still in my mind  that belief which I only heard. Attending the church and activities for so many reasons. I never tried to look for a deeper knowledge about the name of Jesus Christ. Here in our reading Nicodemus a man of Pharisees which is a ruler of the Jews meaning this man is a religious leader who is knowledgeable about the word of God, came to Jesus at night and said,  Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom ...
