DEVOTIONAL: The Assurance of our Faith in Christ

We all need a secured future; for ourselves and for our loved ones but sad reality, the one that we usually working for is a temporary and has no eternal assurance. Why not start to working and focusing for the eternal one, it is free and it is for everyone.  John 10:28-30 New International Version 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”  This is the assurance of our faith in Christ, having the confidence that once we believed and accept him personally as our Lord and savior then we are saved and have eternal life. And this is based on the objective truth of God's promises and the work of Jesus Christ, not on subjective feelings or personal performance. This assurance is found in God's character, the promises in Scripture like "whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ...

DEVOTIONAL: Let God’s Power Work Within You

Philippians 2:13 "it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose". This verse means that our God provides both the desire and the ability for us as believers to live according to His will, as it is not a result of our own strength but of His power at work within us.  1.Source of power : The verse emphasizes that the capacity to want and to do what is right comes from God, not from oneself. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 2. God's purpose : This work is for His "good pleasure," meaning it aligns with and accomplishes His divine purpose. Mainly, for us his children to grow stronger and prosper spiritually and it includes blessing with protection and discipline as we obey his instruction carefully. And surely this is where our hope and future holds through our faith in Christ Jesus name. ...

DEVOTIONAL: POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF IGNORING GOD’S WORD

The act of "ignoring the word of God" carries significant consequences in the Bible, often leading to  spiritual decay, destruction, separation from God, a lack of wisdom, and divine judgment .  Hebrews 2:1-4New International Version Apostle Paul warned and encouraging all believers of Christ to pay the most careful attention to the word of God. 1 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.(Please read the whole chapter of Hebrew 2 to know more about salvation.)... These are some consequences found thro...

DEVOTIONAL: Let The World See Jesus In You

Every believer of God must live according to what Jesus Christ did as a proof of being true to him. As how much the Heavenly Father so please in  him because of his obedience, we also must walk like him. So, Jesus Christ is the perfect example of how to live holy, pleasing and acceptable to the Father in heaven. His obedience has shown to us that even until He died at the cross. He fully surrendered and sacrificed his life to the Father for the forgiveness of our sins. His crucifixion was done once and for all and not to be done again by a mere human like us for it doesn’t make sense at all. A sinner being crucified for the forgiveness of all sins? No, for it is done, we were all forgiven through Christ. Since we are now having this freedom, we must walk like Christ Jesus. And this is our part to do, we have to live a life away from the old-self and must be fully committed and completely surrendered to God no matter where it takes with our new-self (2 Corinthians 5:17). Keys to...

DEVOTIONAL: BLESSING COMES AFTER OBEDIENCE

In  Luke 11:27-28 ,   a woman in the crowd blesses Jesus's mother for giving birth to him, but Jesus redirects this praise, stating, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it" . This verse emphasizes that true blessing comes not just from hearing God's word, but from putting it into practice. Hearing without action is incomplete; it is obedience that leads to a life of purpose, peace, and lasting joy. Like Mary, the mother of Christ Jesus because God knew her heart as an obedient servant, she was blessed by being chosen as an instrument in fulfilling God’s plan for us and to the world. And now, the blessing of God through Christ is being set for everyone. And we can only know and see it by listening to his word together with our faith and action. We are all called and chosen to follow Jesus Christ by the grace of God and this is one of the great blessing we have at hand with a promise. But sad to see that not everyone have heard the word h...
