DEVOTIONAL: Our Excuses Prevents Us To Live In Holiness

“Hanggat lagi tayong mayroong excuses hindi tayo lalago at makapamuhay nang may holiness.”

Our common life excuses are always be like this, we are only humans and we are not perfect, that’s why we made always mistakes. Yes it is so true, but if a person is doing mistake repeatedly with the same situation then it is called self abuse. Who will suffer for it? First yourself and next are the people that are so close to you, your love ones of course. And most of all our Heavenly Father. For it is not his will for any of his beloved children seeing them suffering. And the best life guide to be followed is the word of God,the perfect One.

Jesus Christ teaching from the book of Matthew 5:48 said, Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. And even from the old testament God was always commanding his people to live a holy life(Leviticus 19:2).

This is the most important aspect in our lives needed to be exercise and put it into practice day by day. Yes,holiness is not about perfection but it is a personal character we need to build up towards God. We need to have a heart and mind that have fear to offend the Most High a heart like Jesus Christ. Through him everything has been made perfect. And this only happened when we accept Jesus Christ wholeheartedly.

Then a holy life with you begin in progressive way until it will be made perfect in due times. It is not an easy process but if you have faith in his name it will happen. By his word that being planted in our hearts, like a seed it will grow and bear much fruit through the power of the Holy Spirit who live among us(2 Timothy 16:17). And that fruit is the one that will last forever (John 3:16).

Therefore, do not allow your excuses for you to missed God's goodness and faithfulness.

No to excuses, start to live in holiness for a perfect life is the great reward to the faithful as God's promise.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God not called us for IMPURITY, but in HOLINESS.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus.
