DEVOTIONAL: WE ARE ALL TEMPORARY, SO MAKE YOUR LIFESTORY WORTHY

"Obedience to Christ Jesus commands is our performance and the word of God is our great guidance."

Life is so short, we will live for it only once with a maximum age maybe about 100 years or more by the grace of God surely with a healthy lifestyle. But sad reality as we grow older ourselves will also adapt different environment that mostly are unworthy. With the bad influences cause by what we have learned from the world our lives begin to change into negativities such as pride, selfishness, hatred and etc.

Can you Imagine, even if we live a thousand years in this planet, and the only thing we have done were all negativities against somebody. What could be the fruit and harvest of all those deeds?

This is how the world showing to us the pattern of life from generation to generation. You see, war is everywhere and this is clearly the evidence of being unloving.

But remember the world has a saying, YOLO! " You only live once, so do everything that makes your life happy. Enjoy! This is how the world is teaching us. But it's a BIG LIE for there is no joy in someone else with unloving heart. Therefore we need to find the TRUTH.

But what if even  in a short time of 100 below years of our life existence and we will live our lives together  in the name of love? Using the kind of love that the world does not have. This kind of love is not a secret. It was being brought by our Loving Father God to us through the life of Christ Jesus, for us to know the best way that surely, will give us a good fruit and a good harvest of life. This is TRUE LOVE, it comes from our Loving God, the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

  1. Being Kind
  2. Not Envy
  3. Not Boast
  4. Not Proud
  5. Not Dishonoring Others
  6. Not Self-seeking
  7. Not Easily Angered
  8. Keeps No Records of Wrongs
  9. Not Delighted in Evil BUT Rejoices with the Truth
  10. Always Protects
  11. Always Trusts
  12. Always Hopes
  13. Always Perseveres

This is how the life must live to become worthy individually. All these characteristics must be put into practice and applied with one another. This is not so easy but God have made a way and provided us a key.

How? The TRUTH is the KEY.

What is the Truth? John 14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

WE NEED TO HAVE THE KEY

K- Know Jesus- “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32

E-Equip yourself by the word of God- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Y- Your KEY will work only by FAITH-20 Jesus replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

JESUS CHRIST is the KEY, hold your faith in him tightly so your life become worthy before our Father God Almighty.

Obedience to Christ Jesus commands is our performance and the word of God is our great guidance.

Matthew 22:34-40 New International Version

The Greatest Commandment

34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

“LOVE NEVER FAILS.”

To God be all the glory forever and ever.AMEN!

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start.
