DEVOTIONAL : THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Jesus said,''

Let us take this question as a direct message unto us. Do we call Jesus Christ as our Lord and not doing what he has teach us?

Our Lord did not give us a puzzled life. He gave us a beautiful life with a clear and a straight forward guidance through his word. But our mind are being darken with sins cause by our disobedience. People chose to love the world but  ignored his word and are still calling him Lord!Lord!

So what is the use of knowing and calling his name but are NOT listening to his calling? What is the use of his word for us if there is none of us has a humble heart to believe and OBEY it? A sad reality that we really need to change our ways.

Our God is with us,so have a great conversation with him. When you call on him he will listen, and when he answers and started to speaks to you please listen carefully too. For his voice is full of love with a clear instruction and inspiring promises. All we need to do is to have obey it and have to walk our lives by faith.

The importance of our OBEDIENCE to the word of God.

1.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS OUR REAL IDENTITY AS BEING A TRUE CHRISTIAN.

2.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS THE ONLY WAY TO EXPRESS OUR GENUINE LOVE FOR THE LORD.

3.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS THE STRONGEST FOUNDATION OF OUR FAITH TO CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

4.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS THE KEY TO OPEN DOORS OF THE IMPOSSIBLE TO EXPERIENCE HIS MIRACULOUS POWER  FOR HIS GLORY AND HONOR.

5.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD WILL ALLOW GOD TO FULFILL HIS PERFECT PLAN FOR US INDIVIDUALLY WITH NO DELAYS.

6.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD IS THE WISEST DECISION IN LIFE.

7.OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD IS  A COMPLETE PROTECTION AGAINST ALL ENEMIES ATTACKS AND DESTRUCTION.

The Wise and Foolish Builders

46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

‘’Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.’’- Jesus Christ

ALL GLORY BELONG TO GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!

AMEN!

They cried, "Hosanna!" But, did they forget the rest of the story? - An Extraordinary Day

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

ACROSTIC GUIDE: WASH W-WORD OF GOD   -The word of God has a divine cleansing power to purify us from uncleanliness through faith in Christ. -16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant ...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus.
