DEVOTIONAL: Be A Productive Christian

A Christian cannot be productive/fruitful if his/her heart is not a disciple’s heart.

It is like a one big rich family with the same family name. Everyone will receive their inheritance but surely if one of them will not work hard for his own riches how it could gain more and even maintain his own riches?

We should know that we are the heirs of God’s kingdom with Christ Jesus.

We should know that we are one family in the name of Christ, that is why we are called as Christians.

Yes, we are! But this is a sad reality, we sometime a Christian only by name but NOT by heart.

As we can see, there are so many Christians in this world but only few has the the knowledge and wisdom of the Truth. It is because not everyone is working for the Lord. We are so busy with so many things and set aside the most important one thing, the Truth(John 14:6).

But the Lord said,

“If we seek him first, his kingdom and his righteousness as it is written, Matthew 6:33 everything will be added unto us.”

But most of Christians are not doing the way what has the Lord instructed to us. We have our own way of serving the Lord. We  usually made Jesus Christ as our last option. Jesus said as Christians cannot bear fruits apart from him it means without seeking God first we cannot do anything for ourselves. And the fruits in our spiritual life is not a temporary things, not money nor gold. It is the kingdom of God with eternal life as our inheritance.

So, as a Christian are we still working hard for temporary things first?

Does God will not provide everything we need whenever or wherever he guide?

Jesus promise that He himself will be with his followers until the end of ages Matthew 28:19-20

Therefore, whoever is a Christian is a disciple of Christ. For every Christian is a follower of Christ. As we grow as being a Christian nurtured by the love and divine discipline of God through his word we will learn so many amazing things. And this is our one goal as one family of God, is to fulfill our greatest commission with Christ. To  spread the gospel,to teach others to obey all God's commandment in the name of Christ Jesus and by the power of the Spirit of Truth.

In short, we must be Christ disciple and to make disciples. This is the real life cycle of a christian family of Christ through generation to generation to come.

How can you imagine if all Christians will work together in your church? Sharing the love of God and Inviting people to come and to know more about Jesus Christ?

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17

EVIDENCE OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17 ANCHOR VERSE John 13:12-14 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.  TO WASH ONE ANOTHER’S FEET AS JESUS CHRIST COMMANDED TO HIS DISCPLES IS NOT WHAT WE   LITERALLY  THINK  BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING . WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM ARE ALREADY CONSIDERED AS CLEAN AND ARE ALSO ENTRUSTED TO CLEAN THOSE UNCLEAN BY SHARING THE GOSPEL IN HIS NAME. ACROSTIC GUIDE: WASH W-WORD OF GOD   -The word of God has a divine cleansing power to purify us from uncleanliness through faith in Christ. -16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant ...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
