DEVOTIONAL: A FRIEND WHO PROTECT AND DEFEND UNTIL THE VERY END

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:13-15

What is the most difficult thing to handle in this life? It is when the time of hardship comes in our way. When hard times come along that make us feel weak or exhausted, whom do you call for help and how do you manage to overcome it?

Most of the time, we will call for help from a family or a friend whom we trusted and start to open up our personal challenges. We might be getting some help and comfort at first but each person has its own limitation. You will see when the situation getting more harder and harder, surely time will come also that no one else is being visible in your way. Then to whom shall we ask for help and comfort when there is nobody?

This made me realized as my personal experience that we must need a true family and friend who will never leave us nor forsake us in all difficult situations. And it is only Jesus Christ is a true family and a true friend, who did it for you and me. He sacrificed his life for us at the cross until death just to give us hope and a future. And it is through his word that we knew how Jesus suffered for us. His suffering made us victorious till the very end if we obey his teaching and commandment. Jesus Christ is a friend that we’ve never met personally but the evidence of his love is so clear and super abound everywhere.

In Genesis 38 When the sons of Judah were wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put them to death.

But in this present generation, by the grace of our God through Christ Jesus, how long we’ve been in wickedness? Even as we are still sinners, but still are alive. Did you see the evidence of God's great love for us? That is a super unconditional love for us. Giving us a chance to seek him so that we may not die but to live eternally. Hardships is everywhere, we cannot hide and escape from it, but to overcome it by faith and obedience to the one who had overcome it all, again Jesus Christ.

Though his word is not commonly we wanted in times of troubles but the real comfort and help is from the Lord. How important is the word of God in our lives? Whenever hard times come along that make us feel weak or exhausted, prayer and reading Bible verses are the only way that can brings us healing and can fortify our souls. How strong is  a family or a circle of friends who has Christ Jesus as the center of their lives? How solid is the foundation of their lives? Always choose Christ Jesus over your family and friends. Over all, without him everything will cost nothing. With this, the truth is very important for us to know, regardless of who we are, we are all family in the name of Christ Jesus. As one family, we must be united in serving the Lord and sharing his goodness and faithfulness to  the world. People may be rich physically, abundance in food, clothing and everything, but without Christ Jesus in their hearts it will always ends nothing.

Revelation 22:7 Jesus Is Coming “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.

This is the assurance when we have Christ Jesus, no matter what happen within our life journey, even if physical death is the end of our life story, but our soul will  live in eternity.

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; said Jesus Christ.  GOD BLESS!

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

EVIDENCE OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17 ANCHOR VERSE John 13:12-14 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.  TO WASH ONE ANOTHER’S FEET AS JESUS CHRIST COMMANDED TO HIS DISCPLES IS NOT WHAT WE   LITERALLY  THINK  BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING . DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus.
