DEVOTIONAL: A CHRISTIAN MAIN GOAL

Goal for a CHANGE not blessings!

As Christians we must understand that our main goal is to have a renewed mind and a changed heart.

Because our minds and our hearts are being corrupted by the scheme made and planted by the devil.

But all glory to God because of Christ Jesus his only begotten son we are now being restored with freedom and power to overcome it. And now that we are free, what will be the use of this freedom and power in our lives?

Shall we ignore it and remain in the situation as being corrupted/dead creation? (Read Ephesians 2) Or

Shall we get up, move forward and grab this amazing opportunity given free unto us, together with the hope and promises in eternity in the name of Christ?

Life is a choice!

Therefore, be careful about your choice for it will bring you either to the ETERNAL VICTORY prepared by Jesus Christ or to the place of ETERNAL DEFEAT prepared by the enemy.

WE NEED A CHANGED LIFE!

We as human we are always holding on to our own nature which has been surrounded with so many factors in regards to changes. And these factors include our own desires, comforts and plans which are not align to the will of God.

But if we are willing to have a changed life, all we have to do is to accept Christ Jesus first as our life driver in all our ways. In such a way the change become possible to happen. Allowing Christ Jesus to work in our mind and heart will enable his beautiful plan to happen within us. All the impossible things will only happen if Christ is with us. As Jesus said apart from him we are nothing (John 15:5), in other words apart from him we cannot change our human nature as being WORLDLY.

ONLY JESUS CHRIST CAN CHANGE OUR HEART AND MIND.That is why we need to abide in him so it will come to happen.

1 John 2:16-17 said, do not love the world....

For all that is in the worldthe lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

This is the GOOD NEWS now!!!

When we accepted Jesus Christ, He will remove all this worldly spirit in us; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life and He will replace it with a clean spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Therefore: A Changed Life will only starts when Christ Jesus is being accepted and dwelling in our hearts!

HEARTCHECK!

1) Am I abiding in Christ Jesus teaching?

2) Is there a change happening to me personally as I abide in Christ?

We need to abide first in the WILL of God. It should be consistently. As He promise that He will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; He will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And He will put his Spirit in you and you are able to follow his decrees and to become careful to keep his commands. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

A- Accept JESUS CHRIST as your personal Lord and believe that He is the Savior of the world.

B- Be a servant of God by heart and mind.

I- Impossible are become POSSIBLE

D- Do not love anything in the world

E- Entrust everything to God

Goal for a change, and not always for blessings because we are now in the stage of abundant blessings through Christ.

1) Matthew 6:33 English Standard Version

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

2) John 10:10 English Standard Version

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

3) John 6:35English Standard Version

35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

MEMORY VERSE:  Ezekiel 36:26-27

26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17

EVIDENCE OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17 ANCHOR VERSE John 13:12-14 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.  TO WASH ONE ANOTHER’S FEET AS JESUS CHRIST COMMANDED TO HIS DISCPLES IS NOT WHAT WE   LITERALLY  THINK  BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING . WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM ARE ALREADY CONSIDERED AS CLEAN AND ARE ALSO ENTRUSTED TO CLEAN THOSE UNCLEAN BY SHARING THE GOSPEL IN HIS NAME. ACROSTIC GUIDE: WASH W-WORD OF GOD   -The word of God has a divine cleansing power to purify us from uncleanliness through faith in Christ. -16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant ...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
