DEVOTIONAL: SEEKING AND STORING FOR TREASURES?

Store up Treasures in Heaven Matthew 6:19-24

ANCHOR VERSE : MATTHEW 6:19-21

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.


“The Real Treasure is with Christ Jesus; The Eternal Life:


If You Have Christ then You are  Rich and Complete.

S- SEEK GOD FIRST

T- TO FOCUS ON TREASURES IN HEAVEN

O- OUR EYES MUST BE FIXED IN CHRIST

R- REAL RICHES IS NOT ON EARTH

E- EVERLASTING RICHES IS IN HEAVEN


CLOSING:

Store up treasures that cannot be taken from you but can be shared to others.

-The love of Jesus Christ.  -Romans 5:8-9


CHALLENGE:


-Take the key of those treasures in heaven now(God's word)

- the commandments and promises

-Store it in your Heart.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat.
