GOD WILL RESTORE THOSE WHO REND THEIR HEARTS


READ JOEL 2:1-31


WHEN WE TALK ABOUT RESTORATION, THERE’S SOMETHING THAT WAS LOST OR DESTROYED.


WHAT IS IT?WHY?


ACROSTIC: RESTORE


R- RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Major cause is our sin.It really hurt the heart of God and it affects our relationship with him and it causes us to experience many diciplines.Remember God is mighty his wrath against us are not easy.

E- EVERYTHING

When we keep on sinning God is not within us. Remember apart from Him we are nothing and in that we lost everything.


S- SELF-CONFIDENCE

When we keep on sinning we felt guilty and when we are guilty we don’t have confidence to come to church and share about his goodness to others.


T- TRUST

When we keep on sinning our trust is not with God at all.


O- OVERFLOWING BLESSINGS

When we keep on sinning we missed so much time to God. Remember His presence is heaven and it is a great blessing.


R- RELENTLESS JOY

When we keep on sinning our joy is temporary but when we obey God the joy is complete and relentless in Christ Jesus.


E- ETERNAL LIFE

When we keep on sinning our destination is eternal death in hell🔥

THE LORD SAID, REND OUR HEARTS!

R- RETURN TO GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART NOT OUR GARMENTS


E- ENTRUST OUR LIFE TO GOD


N-NUTURE OUR SPIRIT WITH THE WORD


D- DO NOT DELAY FOR THE LORD’S DAY IS NEAR, REPENT.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat.
