DEVOTIONAL :BE AND ENCOURAGER AND NOT TO JUDGE OTHERS

Be an encourager to help others struggles

READ John 8:1-11 below....

Jesus Christ came to the world to save all of us from our sins and transgressions and not to judge or condemn us if we believe in him (John: 3:17-18) . All of us had fall short on his glory for all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23. God hates the sin but he loves the sinner and he forgives our sins. God loves us unconditionally and he doesn't want one of us to be perished(John 3:16). He demonstrated his love for us by giving up his life for us (Romans 5:8, the great love of God for us through Christ. As we started to know Jesus Christ and saved by grace, we will face such situation, like sometimes our family and friends will be use by the enemy to attack us personally questioning our faith, judging and condemning us using our past mistakes.

Nowadays even people claiming they are Christians, when you do good things it will be get easily forgotten  but when you do mistakes it will be saved on their minds and memories. Always they will use it to let you down, put you into shame, throwing it all over again and again to you like a stone.  That even you are not on that same place or situation they still keep throwing it to you.

Like the story in this passage, this woman whom they said that they caught her in a sinful act of  adultery was treated like the most sinner. How they handled her over to Jesus Christ was super shaming in the middle of the crowd without love and compassion using it as a trap to Jesus Christ. As if they are clean and righteous for they are  teachers of the law and Pharisees, so they were acting that they knew everything rather than Jesus.  They tried to  judge her by stoning to death. But Jesus Christ deal with it with love and compassion and ask them for who among them without sin be the first to throw a stone to the woman. But look no one throws a stone to her for the truth is revealed that all of them not only the woman is a  sinner.

This also teaches us to not judge our brothers or sisters whom we see them in sin, but remind them with the love of God. Be kind, compassionate and help them by encouraging using the knowledge and wisdom from God with repentance(Ephesians 4:32). And not lean on your own understanding, but always remember that we are all sinners, we have to be very careful on dealing with the same situation for we might be use by the evil to be a stumbling block rather than to help them being restored back to Christ. We don't have the right to judge others for the real judge is only  Jesus Christ, who gives us so many chances to change without judging us immediately. But by giving us a chance and allowing as to listen and obey  his word. That  will really help us back to him with full and complete restoration in his name. Motivate yourself by reading the word of God. When you feel you are judge because of what you have done, be humble in the Lord ask forgiveness and forgive. God's word is a lamp to our feet and light of our path and it is useful for our restoration(Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Do not listen to those who only see your mistakes, letting you feel that you are a sinner and they are righteous, but listen to those people with a Spirit of love and with compassionate heart like Jesus Christ who guides and uplift your soul up. And most of all listen to what Jesus Christ said , neither do I condemn you, Go now and leave your life of sin. We have to delight ourselves to God for apart from him we are totally nothing.

WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED OF WHO YOU ARE OR OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE BE HUMBLE AND REMEMBER THAT…

John 8:1-11

1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

11 “No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

EVIDENCE OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17 ANCHOR VERSE John 13:12-14 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.  TO WASH ONE ANOTHER’S FEET AS JESUS CHRIST COMMANDED TO HIS DISCPLES IS NOT WHAT WE   LITERALLY  THINK  BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING . WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM ARE ALREADY CONSIDERED AS CLEAN AND ARE ALSO ENTRUSTED TO CLEAN THOSE UNCLEAN BY SHARING THE GOSPEL IN HIS NAME. ACROSTIC GUIDE: WASH W-WORD OF GOD   -The word of God has a divine cleansing power to purify us from uncleanliness through faith in Christ. -16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant ...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
