For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21
Please read 1 JOHN: 2:15-17
In this reading the word of God reminding us to always check our heart, our desires and priorities. The world offer so many things that will easily attract our eyes, mind and heart. We need to be very careful in all things that attracted our desires because when we become overwhelm on it, possibility we will forget the Lord.
Loving what the world has offer to us like (the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is a SIN and the love for the Lord is not with us. We cannot serve two master inside our heart, the world and the LORD? Prioritizing those things what you love in this world rather than the word of the Lord who is the creator? The truth is, what has the world offers to us is against the will of God (the world and its desires will pass away) but pursuing the will of God, knowing, listening, and obeying unto him offers heavenly rewards which is eternal life.
Today we have to check our hearts if what is inside? Is it the will of God? or our own desire which are all worldly desires?
Treasure those things that will make Jesus Christ SMILE! Amen!
S - Seeking the worldly things rather than the Lord. It will leads us to hell and die.
I- It will always hurt the Lord
N- Not giving glory to God
Reading.....
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[d] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
Walk the talk bro.
