BE A WISE CHRISTIAN

Please read Matthew 25:1-13

The Parable of the Ten Virgins
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

This PARABLE reminds us as a Christian to not just be contented of what we have right now, but to be wise by seeking more about God. Waiting patiently and earnestly for he is preparing something special for us. And while waiting for his second coming we must be prepared too for no one knows when the hour has come except the Father. To seek him is making Jesus Christ as our first priority in Life. We may go through so many seasons in life that make us feel drowsy and weak but by keeping his word in our heart will keep us wise, awake  and keeps our lamp lights on. When the hour has come we will be able to go with him and enter in his  kingdom in heaven. Therefore choose to be wise today...

HOW TO BE WISE? 

W- WORD OF GOD IS OUR LAMP AND A GREAT FOUNDATION OF WISDOM- The world is full of darkness but whoever walk with God, keeping his word will have the light.

-Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105

I - INVOLVE IN ANY GODLY ACTIVITY- MARITISAN SA KAPANGYARIHAN AT KABUTIHAN NG DIYOS

Ways to have a deeper relationship to God are having FELLOWSHIP with him through our Church gathering, prayer meeting and bible study.

-For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. MATTHEW 18:20 KJV "

S- STAY AWAKE IN GOD’S PRESENCE- KEEP WATCH! GISING AT HUWAG MAGTULUG-TULUGAN AT PALAGING SAKA NALANG

- “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.” Revelation 16:15

E- EARNESTLY WAIT UPON THE 2ND COMING OF THE LORD -FOR HE IS PREPARAING HEAVENLY GIFTS AND REWARDS FOR YOU.

2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:2-4

Ø  Sabi ni HESUS’Kaya magbantay kayo, dahil hindi ninyo alam ang araw o oras ng aking pagbabalik.”

Ø  SABIHAN MO KATABI MO DIYAN, DAPAT KASAMA TAYO SA PAGPASOK DOON SA KASALAN, KASI KUNG HINDI WHO YOU KA NALANG…..KASI YUN NA ANG KATAPUSAN.

NDI WHO YOU KA NALANG…..KASI YUN NA ANG KATAPUSAN.

    This is a very powerful message from the Lord.we have to be prepared on his coming.Now is the right time to start preparing for us to be his Bride.and we know that in whatever aspects of our life Preparations takes time for us to get or to know it.Same with Preparing for his Second coming. Don't ignore the Word of GOD for he will ignore us also when he comes. To God be The Glory.

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat.
