DEVOTIONAL : THE ASSURANCE OF BEING IN THE LIGHT

For the world gives us light in the day, and darkness in the night but the one who walk with God will always have the light even in the night ."

Please read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

As Apostle Paul wrote this to the Thessalonians reminding them for the second coming of Christ Jesus which has no time and date. But  giving  the assurance by accepting Jesus Christ with our obedience we are safe and saved for he is our light through the darkness which is our great enemy. The Lord will come in the night like a thief! Why Apostle Paul mentioning this? It is because of the signs of destruction is with them even it getting worst in our present time these days . We are all experiencing those  things nowadays which Jesus Christ himself told to his disciples in (Matthew 24:4-8) like a birth pains and it is the coming end of the age. But since we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior then we we belong to the light. But this is a great reminder to all of us, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. We may sleep or awake at night even when the surprise comes we are always safe.

The fear of the coming age is, even if we know the truth but we keep on ignoring it and when the night comes with the surprise what will happened to us?

This passage has the same message for us  that we need to be ready for the big surprise which is coming soon and be sure that we belong to the light through faith in Christ Jesus. The destructions is in our present time and be sober and awake by the knowledge of truth. Let's all wait patiently for that time by having a deep relationship to him, encouraging one another, through our prayers in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Be excited and God bless us all!

READING...1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

The Day of the Lord

5 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

I felt a little Pain and Guilt upon reading this Passage.I was once before a Happy Go Lucky person i dont care about what is really important or what is waiting ahead of me..I am enjoying the Happiness offered by The Darkness..So i tend to Face different kind of problems that make me think of Jesus Christ..Yes i only remember him when i am in Trouble After that I Forget him already..In this Readings the lines that strikes me is the one who sleeps, sleeps at night..I feel scared upon realizing that if Jesus Christ will come at Night then I will be left in Hell.. It's an eye opener to all of us to Be Prepared upon his coming..No one knows when..If we have time to make our Looks pleasing To everyone..Give More Time to look pleasant to the Lord.In that way we will not be afraid when he comes for we know for ourselves that we are Ready to face Him with confidence....TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY..

DEVOTIONAL: SALVATION MEANING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences—which include death and separation from God—by Christ's death and resurrection, and everyone who accept this truth will be restored through faith and have eternal life. Note, that the word death here is not about a physical death but a spiritual death. So, this spiritual death and separation from God start from the time when humans disobeyed God which is written in the book of Genesis 3 ( please read the full chapter ) . Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. And because God so love the world He made a way in which He sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to deliver and redeem us from being perished because of our transgressions and sin. John 3:16 , which says, "For God so loved the world that he g...

DEVOTIONAL: A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17

EVIDENCE OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN FAMILY JOHN:13:1-17 ANCHOR VERSE John 13:12-14 12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.  TO WASH ONE ANOTHER’S FEET AS JESUS CHRIST COMMANDED TO HIS DISCPLES IS NOT WHAT WE   LITERALLY  THINK  BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING . WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM ARE ALREADY CONSIDERED AS CLEAN AND ARE ALSO ENTRUSTED TO CLEAN THOSE UNCLEAN BY SHARING THE GOSPEL IN HIS NAME. ACROSTIC GUIDE: WASH W-WORD OF GOD   -The word of God has a divine cleansing power to purify us from uncleanliness through faith in Christ. -16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant ...

DEVOTIONAL: IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

Repentance is important because it allows for forgiveness, spiritual growth, and a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an act of turning away from sin and walk toward a path of a healthy spiritual life  which leads to freedom from guilt, healing, and a fresh start. It is often seen as a prerequisite for spiritual progress and salvation. It is also an  act of feeling remorse for all the past wrongdoing. Knowing also that in every mistake that we are going to commit in this present and in the future has a consequences(including the past). So it is called to repent and not to repeat. We have to choose wisely our path by changing our mindsets and behaviour by walking towards a better way of living   fixing our eyes to Jesus.   This involves acknowledging one's actions base not by human judgement but by what Christ Jesus teaching, and committing to a change in attitude and actions in the name of Christ Jesus. A key verse on repentance is 1 John 1...
